This is the ideal time for adventure enthusiasts who want to go skiing. March to June: The summers in Manali are pleasant. The valley is covered with flowers and is a sight to behold. July-August: Monsoons in Manali are not an ideal time as there is heavy rainfall accompanied by landslides and traffic. The other route is via the national highway 3. This route passes through the Patiala in Punjab. The distance is around 600 kms and takes about 15 hours to reach Manali from Delhi.
